Man Possibly Wearing Wig Wanted For Mall Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a kiosk at the Potomac Mills Mall on Thursday morning.

According to Prince William County police, a man passed a note to the employee at the Currency Exchange International kioskat Potomac Mills Mall in the Woodbridge area shortly before 11 a.m.

The note demanded money, and he received some cash before fleeing, say police.

No one was injured in the robbery, but police say security footage revealed he was armed with a handgun.

The man is described as a black male between 20 and 25 years old, 5 foot 8 inches tall and 150 pounds with a medium build and long black hair, which may have been a wig. Police say he was also wearing sunglasses, a long sleeved Howard University sweatshirt, light colored long pants, blue hat, and carrying a brightly colored floral bag.
