WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man was arrested at his family's house in Woodbridge, Va. for allegedly performing sexual acts on a minor for almost a decade and possibly performing sexual acts on another minor, says U.S. Marshal Bobby Mathieson.
According to Mathieson, Edmond N. Londres was wanted by the Fairfax County Police Department for aggravated sexual battery. County police interviewed Londres and afterward two more warrants were issued against him with charges of rape and aggravated sexual battery. Detectives told Deputy U.S. Marshals that Londres was performing sexual acts on a minor for approximately ten years, says Mathieson.
On Monday, a source told U.S. Marshals' Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force investigators that they thought Londres may be performing sexual acts on another minor, according to Mathieson. Investigators were able to find Londres at his family's home in Woodbridge and take Londres into custody without incident, says Matthieson.
Law enforcement officers had been looking for Londres for a long time, according to Mathieson. No time length was given.
Londres has a criminal history which includes larceny, statutory burglary, receiving stolen property, and unlawful entry, says Mathieson.
