Holes Found In House After Shots Fired In Va.

LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA9) -- Leesburg police spokesperson Jeff Dube tells us that holes were found in a house after a report of shots fired on Sunday night.

Dube says they received reports about gun shots at approximately 9:45 p.m. Sunday in the area of the 200 block of Valley View Avenue SW. Police found several bullet casings but no property damage or injuries.

At approximately 4:25 a.m. Monday police received another call. This time the call was from a resident  in the 100 block of Catoctin Circle who found what appeared to be several bullet holes in the side of her house, says Dube.

Investigators are trying to recover evidence.

Police say the shooting appears to be random and no injuries were reported.

Only one lane is closed in the 100 block of Catoctin Circle SW for the investigation.
