FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County Police say officers tracked 5-year-old Cameron Serafin and his mother 32-year-old Rebecca Serafin from BWI Airport to Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday.
Rebecca Serafin, who may also be known as Rebecca Love, was supposed to return Cameron to his father a week ago, say police. According to their investigation, his mother Rebecca Serafin altered Cameron's and her own appearance to try to avoid being found. They also say Serafin's car and other items were discovered.
Police also say that on Friday they obtained a warrant for parental abduction for Rebecca Serafin. A warrant was previously issued against Rebecca Serafin for custodial interference.
According to police, they have no updated reports of any sightings of the mother and child. They are still seeking help from the public to try to locate Cameron Serafin.
Police describe Rebecca Serafin as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and between 120 and 130 pounds.
They say Cameron Serafin might also be using the last name Love. He is 3 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 40 pounds.
