Jordan Myracle Accused Of Kicking Officer, Possessing Marijuana, Reckless Driving In Va.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Woodbridge man is being held without bond after being found with marijuana during a traffic stop and then kicking an officer, say Prince William County Police.

Early Thursday morning, police say an officer stopped the vehicle 20-year-old Jordan Gregory Myracle was driving in the area of Sudley Road and Gum Spring Drive in Catharpin for a traffic offense. According to a press released from police, "During the encounter with the driver...marijuana was located." When the officer tried to arrest Myracle, police say he "actively resisted and refused to get into the police cruiser." At that time, Myracle allegedly kicked an officer in the leg several times. More officers arrived at the scene and Myracle was detained, say police. 

Police also say there were some minor injuries.

Myracle is charged with assault & battery on a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, and possession of marijuana.
