Reward Offered In Liquor Store Robbery Case

JESSUP, Md. (WUSA) - Police are seeking a suspect in the July 12 robbery of a liquor store, and are offering a reward of up to $500 for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Howard County Police have also released the photo attached.

Officers responded to a robbery at Woody's Liquors in the 8800 block of Washington Boulevard around 1:20 p.m. July 12. Their investigation revealed that a man entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded money. The 22-year-old male clerk complied. The suspect left the store, walked south around the building and ran down into the woods.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5' 6", with a small goatee, wearing a black and blue baseball hat with "FML" imprinted on it. He also wore sunglasses, a black long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Two witnesses on Pine Tree Drive saw a man walking through the neighborhood wearing a "FML" hat.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 410-313-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous.
