ROCK CAVE, WV (WUSA9) -- State Police in West Virginia cancelled the Amber Alert issued for a missing infant and her 16-year-old mother, who were believed to be in extreme danger.

Shaina Nicole Tenney and her 7-month-old daughter, Grace Hope Tenney, were last seen at a home in Rock Cave, which is in Upshur County, West Virginia.

Authorities believed the two were abducted by 57-year-old Margel Tenney, a non-custodial parent. WSAZ reports that Margel Tenney is Shaina Tenney's stepfather.

Police believed the three were initially traveling in a red 1999 Dodge Dually extended cab with unknown registration. The truck was seen traveling on southbound West Virginia Route 20 near the Upshur County and Webster County line. Officials also said they were looking for a tan 2003 Ford Taurus with WV license plate 2LW179.

WSAZ reported Wednesday morning that the Amber Alert was canceled at approximately 9:30 Wednesday. They were found safe on Interstate 79 in Lewis County and Margel Tenney was taken into custody, says WSAZ.
