(WUSA9) -- A small plane registered to a Montgomery county man, crashed and burst into flames at an airport in Hammonton, New Jersey, FAA officials said.
The Cessna 414 twin engineplane crashed as it was landing and then struck several trees. It burst into flames. The two people on board survived with minor injuries, according to a FAA spokesman.
WUSA9 spoke to the manager of the Montgomery county airpark today who confirms the plane took off from the airport in Gaithersburg, Md. late this morning.
