TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Police say a Baltimore County councilman had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit following his arrest on drunken-driving charges.

Charging documents show Councilman Todd Huff's blood-alcohol percentage was .20 percent. The legal threshold for drunken driving is .08 percent.

Huff was pulled over early Saturday morning in Towson for driving with his headlights off. He stopped in the parking lot of a tire and auto repair business he owns.

The documents show the Republican councilman asked the arresting officer, "Don't you know who I am?" The documents also show he asked repeatedly whether field sobriety tests were necessary and suggested that the officers drive him home and "be done with this." Police say he failed several sobriety tests.

Huff has not responded to multiple messages seeking comment.
