Md. Governor Martin O'Malley Wants To Repeal Death Penalty

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA) - Maryland's Governor says he'll try again to repeal the state's death penalty once and for all.

There are currently five Maryland inmates on death row.
However, the death penalty is currently suspended in an argument with the courts over methods and procedures.

O'Malley was joined by civil right leaders in Annapolis this afternoon Scott Broom was at the state house to report reactions. See the above video for his report.
