WALKERSVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- Investigators say a 911 call led to the arrest of four people in a robbery related to the sale of illegal drugs in Frederick County.

According to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a townhouse in the 8400 block of Vision Lane in Walkersville at approximately 10:15 p.m. after an open 911 call. A deputy knocked on the door and no one answered at first. A short time later, authorities say, a woman with duct tape over her mouth and with her hands bound behind her back was able to open the door.

Deputies then found out that the woman had been threatened with a handgun and that the suspects were still inside the home.

Investigators, hostage negotiators and members of the Special Services team then responded to the scene.

For two hours, negotiators tried to contact the suspects. At 1:30 a.m., law enforcement officers decided to enter the home and found the suspects. The female suspect, Cheryl A. White, was found hiding underneath clothes in a bedroom closet with a gun, say authorities. Keith B. White, Jesse G. Mears and Diontre J. Johnson were found hiding in the attic.

Authorities say that when they entered the home they saw suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia in plain view. After the execution of a search warrant, authorities say they found another handgun in the attic, a 6 ounce bag or cocaine and items suggesting illegal drugs were manufactured and packaged in the house. Authorities seized all  items as evidence in their investigation.
