TIMONIUM, Md. (WUSA) -- Three men are wanted for an attempted kidnapping on Friday, Maryland State Police said.

The victim was found unharmed after troopers from the Golden Ring Barrack responded to a crash on southbound I-83 ramp to Padonia Road just after midnight on Oct. 11.

Police say the victim "was leaving an establishment in the 10,000 block of York Road in Cockeysville earlier in the evening when three men described as either Hispanic or African American apparently approached him."

The men then got into the victim's gray 2011 Nissan Frontier and forced the victim to drive north on York Road. After a while the suspects told the victim to get into the back seat and one of the suspects began driving the car southbound on I-83. When the driver tried to exit on Padonia Road, the suspect lost control and crashed.

The victim, who is not being identified due to the ongoing investigation, was found by police on the scene unharmed. All the suspects fled the scene on foot.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspects. Some items of evidential value were collected by the Maryland State Police Forensics Sciences Division.

If you have any information about the crash or abduction police ask to contact investigators at 410-780-2700.
