(USA TODAY) -- Pippa Middleton's nightlife continues to be of interest, especially to the paparazzi. She was seen with her boyfriend, Nico Jackson, yet what made some sit up was the sight of her tanned leg through a slit in her dress, a la Angelina Jolie.

Pippa, 29, was out on a date with stockbroker Jackson, 35, on their way to check out the opening of a cocktail lounge, Mr. Fogg's, in London's snooty Mayfair neighborhood on Tuesday night.

She was wearing a sleeveless black wool crepe dress with a slit up the side, by British designer Tabitha Webb. The way the paps caught her in full stride was reminiscent of Angelina's famous right leg thrusting from her dress at the 2012 Oscars (so famous it had its own Twitter handle).

The Webb label is a newcomer, founded by Tabitha Somerset Webb, and known for a feminine and modern aesthetic inspired by vintage prints and classic cuts, according to Webb's PR people.

Mr Fogg's, meanwhile, has an interesting back story: It's supposed to be a re-creation of the home of Jules Verne's Phileas Fogg from Around the World in 80 Days, after the adventurer returns from his travels.

The Telegraph reports it's decorated with annotated maps and antique pictures, a piano for sing-alongs, and an open fireplace. The drinks menu features unusual ingredients from countries around the world. Only in London.

The younger sister of Duchess Kate of Cambridge has been dating Jackson for some months; they've vacationed together in Mustique and were spotted "aggressively snogging" on a ski holiday in Switzerland. But they aren't always seen in public together, at least by the paparazzi. Pippa has an active social life and is seen also with other wealthy and titled male pals, such as banker Tom Kingston and George Percy, the son of the Duke of Northumberland.
