Ovarian cycle ride to raise money and awarness for ovarian cancer

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA9) -- September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

More than 20,000 women are diagnosed with the disease every year.

The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is hoping to raise awareness and money to help fight this deadly cancer by cycling.

It's called the Ovarian Cycle DC Ready. Set. Ride! 

The two-hour indoor cycling event takes place October 26th from 2:30p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Revolve at 1025 North Fillmore St. Arlington, VA.

There's a $50 registration fee and participants must raise $300 to ride for an hour or $500 for two hours.
