Two People Struck By Car At Bus Stop In Northeast DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Two people were struck by a car while they waited at a bus stop on Wednesday, DC Police said.

The accident took place on Sheriff Rd. in Northeast between 45th Place to 46th Street at about 2:22 p.m. The road is currently closed as officials investigate, police said. 

The vehicle that stayed on the scene and three transport units have been requested. One of the victims is suffering from a head injury, police told WUSA9.
