Raymond Quattlebaum found shot, killed in Prince George's Co. home; D'Juan Hunter arrested

D'Juan Hunter charged with murder and other offenses in Prince George's County, Md.

CLINTON, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police have made an arrest after a man was found dead at a home on Wednesday night.

According to officials, officers were called to the 9100 block of Goldfield Place in Clinton shortly after 9 p.m. for the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside the home who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police say 52-year-old Raymond Quattlebaum was pronounced dead at the scene.

Thursday morning, police announced that 38-year-old D'Juan Renay Hunter of Southeast Washington, D.C. was identified as a suspect in the homicide and arrested.

According to a police press release: "The preliminary investigation reveals Hunter went to the home on Goldfield Place to visit family. While there, Hunter confronted Quattlebaum. During the confrontation, Hunter shot Quattlebaum.

"Quattlebaum was engaged to Hunter's mother. After the shooting, Hunter ran from the home. He was found and arrested early this morning in Bowie."

Hunter faces first degree murder and related charges, say police.
