FBI offers reward for info on bank robber in VA.

FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA9) - The FBI and Fairfax County police are still looking for a man who robbed a bank in Fairfax on Wednesday afternoon. The FBI is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information about the suspect or crime.

Police say shortly before 4 p.m., a man entered the BB&T Bank at 12220 Fairfax Towne Center in Fairfax, and passed a note demanding money and indicating that he had a gun to an employee.

The robber got away with cash, according to police.

He was described as black, in his mid twenties, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. Police say he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt over a baseball hat and gloves.
