STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- A woman from New York died in a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 at the 135 mile marker on Tuesday morning, according to Virginia State Police. The driver of the car she was a passenger in has been charged with reckless driving.

Twenty-year-old Dejonniza Q. White of Bronx, NY was a passenger in a Mercury sedan involved in the accident shortly before 5:27 a.m., say VSP officials.

Officials tell us that the sedan, driven by 20-year-old Ty Shaun Holloway of Hampton, Va. was traveling south on
Interstate 95 when it crossed a median and struck an embankment. The car then went into the northbound lanes where it was hit by a Toyota sedan. The Toyota then hit a Chevrolet HHR and then a two-axle box truck, say police.

Halloway was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Stafford Hospital. He was then charged with reckless driving, according to police.

David Schwartz of Fredericksburg, who was driving the Toyota, was treated and released from the same hospital.

The other drivers involved in the accident were not injured, according to police.
