VIENNA, Va. (WUSA9) -- U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner (D-VA) will be part of a new production called America the Beautiful at Wolf Trap on Saturday, according to Wolf Trap representatives.

Representatives say Senator Warner will be featured as the narrator in Lincoln Portrait.  Lincoln Portrait is an orchestral work by composer Aaron Copland. Representatives say that it was written as part of a patriotic war effort during World War II. Senator Warner will read excerpts from Abraham Lincoln's speeches and letters, including the Gettysburg Address.

The America the Beautiful program also includes "Ansel Adams: America" by Chris and Dave Brubeck. More than 100 striking photographs of or by Ansel will be shown on huge screens, in-house and on the lawn. It will also be paired with George Gershwin's "An American in Paris" and excerpts from John Williams' score to the award-winning film "Lincoln."
