HANOVER, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police say a woman's sister stabbed her during an argument over the use of a car on Monday night.
According to police, officers responded at approximately 11:15 p.m. to the 7100 block of Somerton Court in Hanover for a reported stabbing. They talked to the victim, who told them she was arguing with her sister over the shared use of a vehicle, say police. The woman said the argument escalated and her sister, Veronica Christina Victoriano, stabbed her with a knife.
Victoriano fled but was later found by officers on Arundel Mills Boulevard and arrested.
Victoriano's sister suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to her lower extremity and was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, say police.
Police say Victoriano, who is 23 years old, was charged with First and Second Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment.
