COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Beltway Plaza Mall businesses will be without water due to a water main break.
A 24 inch water main broke near the intersection of Greenbelt and Branchville Road in College Park between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.
WSSC spokesperson Jerry Irvine says that the water will be shut down for repairs around 4:00 p.m. and that repairs will take about 16 hours.
Only 20 customers are affected by the water main break, all of them businesses at Beltway Plaza Mall.
One southbound lane of Kennilworth Avenue will be shut down for the repairs.
