WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. Police are investigating a fatal shooting of an 18-year-old.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. Saturday, Anthony Sanchez of NW D.C. was dropped at the Washington Hospital Center, 110 Irving St. NW, with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
He was pronounced dead moments after arrival, police said.
Sanchez was a ward of the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services. D.C. Councilmember Jim Graham says Sanchez lived in a DYRS group home and had a pass to leave.
Police say they have no suspect description.
