WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- The nephew of a man found dead in his home was found not guilty of two charges in relation to his murder.

Ho Young Jun found not guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and not guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Kwang Sup Hur. Hur's wife found him dead on September 1 inside his home in the 13900 block of Hedgewood Dr in Woodbridge. The cause of death was determined to be strangulation, say police.

Police said in September that an investigation in Virginia and New York City revealed three relatives, a brother-in-law, sister-in-law and nephew, as possible suspects. At the time, police believe their motive was an insurance fraud in which all would benefit from a life insurance policy payout of $1 million.

Jun and the two other relatives were arrested in the New York/New Jersey area on September 12, 2011.

After a three-day trial by jury in the Prince William County Circuit Court,  Jun was found not guilty.
