WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Among the chaos, as law enforcement officials searched for the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, there were some less publicized moments.
On Friday, residents of Watertown were ordered to stay indoors as police searched for 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
The lockdown was lifted hours later after Tsarnaev was apprehended when a resident reported that someone was hiding out in his backyard in a boat.
On Saturday, Boston Police Dept. (@Boston_Police) tweeted this photo of a Brookline Police Department (BPD) Officer delivering milk to a family with young children while they were on lockdown.
The tweet got over 2,400 tweets by Sunday.
There is no information on the identity of the officer.
