Roger Ebert Dies at 70

CHICAGO (AP) - A movie critic whose thumbs-up, thumbs-down reviews influenced moviegoers across the nation has died.

The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that its film critic Roger Ebert (EE'-burt) died today at the age of 70.

Just yesterday, he had announced on his blog that he was undergoing radiation treatment after a recurrence of cancer.

In 1975 he became the first movie reviewer to get the Pulitzer Prize for criticism.
