ACCOKEEK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Police arrested LeJean Nicola Lancaster after robbing an 80-year-old woman on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said 25-year-old Lancaster opened the door for the victim and her husband at a carry-out restaurant, on the 7000 block of Berry Road, and snatched the woman's purse as the couple walked out.

Lancaster fled on foot but was tackled down by the victim's husband and a bystander. While the men held her down she bit both of them and a male suspect walked up and hit the bystander in the face in an effort to free Lancaster, police said.

When police arrived they arrested the 25-year-old suspect. She admitted to the robbery and is being charged with second degree assault, police said.

Police are searching for the male suspect captured on surveillance video, who assaulted the bystander.
