WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Tuesday, TripAdvisor released the results of its Air Travel Survey of more than 2,000 respondents, including the five biggest complaints about air travel and the fire most annoying airline fees.

1. Uncomfortable seats / limited legroom
2. Costly airline fees and ticket prices
3. Unpredictable flight delays

5. Other passengers (e.g. loud children)

The survey found that 38% of respondents thought more legroom was the most important improvement airlines could make to the airplane experience but most respondents didn't want to pay more for it. Most respondents, 58%, said they would choose an aisle seat while very few people, 4%, said they'd choose the middle seat.

In terms of those movies during the flight, 81% said they would give up that in-flight entertainment for a cheaper flight.

The top five most annoying airline fees  were:

1. Checked baggage
2. Carry-on baggage
3. Seat selection
4. Printed boarding pass at airport
5. In-flight amenities

Southwest Airlines was rated the highest of the airlines in the survey.
