Timothy Krupica, who was a teacher at Meadow Hall Elementary School in Rockville, pleaded guilty to four counts of Second Degree Assault (inappropriate touching), each case carrying a maximum sentence of three years, officials said.
FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA) -- Montgomery County Police say they arrested a teacher who is accused of sexually abusing two 11-year-old girls at Meadow Hall Elementary School in Rockville.
According to police, detectives received information from two 11-year-old girls that they had been sexually abused by their teacher, Timothy Vincent Krupica of Frederick.
Police say their investigation revealed that between September 2012 and February 2013 Krupica inappropriately touched the girls and forced or attempted to force them to inappropriately touch him on several occasions.
Thursday morning, police say Krupica was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and several additional sexual offense charges.
Police say Krupica is currently being held and will have a bond review hearing Friday afternoon.
A Montgomery County Schools spokesperson said that Krupica has been with Montgomery County Schools since 2009, working at Meadow Hall Elementary the entire time. He is on administrative leave with pay.
