FORESTVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- A man wanted for shooting three people after a fight over a missing coat has been located and arrested, say Prince George's County Sheriff's Office authorities.
Lonell Bowen was wanted for an incident at a party on December 29, 2012. At a location in the 3800 block of Penn Belt Place in Forestville, he got into an argument with someone over a missing coat and the argument became a physical fight, say authorities. Bowen is accused of getting a handgun and firing it. The bullets hit three people.
Bowen fled and authorities later found him in the 2700 block of Lorring Drive in Forestville. Initially, Bowen and another man fled on foot and were chased by deputies. Deputies caught up with them and took Bowen into custody.
Bowen was charged with attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, first degree assault, firearm use during a felonious crime and handgun on person.
The other man, Anthony Ross, was also wanted on three warrants for failure to appear - trespassing on private property and controlled dangerous substance possession or marijuana and trespassing on posted property.
