Man Dies In Crash On Baltimore-Washington Parkway

LANDOVER (WUSA) - An adult man died Monday morning in a single vehicle crash on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, according to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department.

Around 11:00 a.m. Monday morning, firefighters/medics were alerted to the crash, which was located in the median strip of the BW Parkway between Annapolis Road and Riverdale Road.

The vehicle was traveling northbound on the Parkway when it ran off the road and hit a tree in the median.

The adult man was around 40 years old, according to authorities.  He was trapped inside of his car and was extricated by firefighters.

He was unconscious at that time and flown to a nearby Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead.
