LANDOVER, Md. (WUSA) -- What a dramatic and bittersweet way to win four straight games for the Washington Redskins.

A rookie QB threw for a dramatic TD for the Redskins at the end of the fourth quarter, but it was not Robert Griffin III.

Kirk Cousins threw the touchdown and ran for the game-tying 2-point conversion to tie the game at 28-28, forcing the overtime.

Robert Griffin III left the game with a hyperextended knee in the fourth quarter after a gruesome looking tackle.

CBS Sports is reporting that Griffin III will have an MRI on his right knee on Monday.

Cousins then worked his magic with the TD and 2-pointer to tie the game.

The Ravens got the ball first in overtime, but they were forced to punt by an inspired Redskins defense. A 64-yard punt return put the Redskins in FG position and the kicker, Kal Forbath, did not disappoint. He kicked a 34-yard FG to secure the win.

Now, after the great win, the Redskins have to answer the question about how serious RG3's injury really is. After he was hit, he came back out and tried to play. Griffin III ended up trying to crawl off the field.

The game started off on a wicked pace.

The Washington Redskins drove right down the field with a smash-mouth 10-play 80-yard drive, capped off with a TD to Josh Morgan to take an early 7-0 lead over the Baltimore Ravens in their first drive.

The Ravens answered back with a big chunk runs and a quick strike TD pass to Anquan Boldin, to tie the game 7-7.

The Redskins took a 14-7 lead with an 8-play 83-yard drive, finished with a 1-yard-run by Alfred Morris.

Boldin caught his second TD pass of the game, with his second catch of the game on a deep strike from Joe Flacco.

Dennis Pitta added another TD to Flacco's day, and the Ravens took the lead 21-14.

The Redskins add a field goal and trail 21-17, and then later added another FG to bring it to within one point, 21-20.

Ray Rice then ran for a TD and extended the lead to 28-20.

The Redskins then rallied with 11 straight points and won the game.
