Police Looking for Second Suspect in Drive-by Murder of Lewisdale Teen

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP/WUSA) - Prince George's County Police are looking for a second suspect in the fatal drive-by shooting of a 14-year-old boy in Lewisdale.

Saturday, detectives said they have evidence that identifies 18-year-old Luis Carlos Guzman-Venture of the 2300 block of Rittenhouse Street in Lewisdale, as the second suspect. Police are looking for him on first degree murder and related charges. 

An arrest warrant had been issued for a different man Thursday in the gang-related murder of 14-year-old Eliezer Benjamin Reyes, also of Lewisdale.

Reyes was killed as he walked with a group.

On Thursday, police arrested 24-year-old Jose Luis Rodriguez-Nunez of Hyattsville and charged him with second-degree murder in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit or Crime Solvers.
