Autumn Mary Marler Charged With Attempted 2nd Degree Murder For Reportedly Stabbing Boyfriend In Back At Glen Burnie Apartment

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA) -- A woman is charged with attempted second degree murder after reportedly stabbing a man in the back who was trying to remove his belongings from her apartment, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Police say that they were called to the apartment in the 7700 block of Oakwood Road in Glen Burnie shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Officers found a 42-year-old man on the stairs inside the apartment building. He had a stab wound to the back and a laceration to the head, say police.

According to police, the man was visiting his 31-year-old girlfriend, Autumn Mary Marler, at her apartment. They got into an argument and Marler is accused of stabbing her boyfriend while he was removing his personal belongings. 

The boyfriend received non life-threatening injuries and was transported to the University of Maryland Hospital-Baltimore f

Marler was arrested and charged with second degree attempted murder and related charges.
