Prince George's County, Md., Officers Remain Suspended Over Video

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) - After an administrative suspension hearing on Wednesday, two police officers remain suspended with pay over their part in a controversial video, according to Prince George's County Police, who said that the two officers have been assigned to non-contact administrative duties.

Prince George's County Police Chief Mark Magaw suspended the two last Friday it was discovered they created a video that Magaw described as "inconsistent with the values of our community."

He announced the suspension after learning about the video that was posted on the Internet.

The video shows a traffic stop that appears to take place in Prince George's County and depicts two African American officers, in uniform, who use crude stereotypes and profanity when interacting with an African American driver who appears to be an actor.
