Watson Pierre of Sunrise, Fla., charged in fatal crash in Frederick County, Md., Victims Identified As Hector Henriquez and Jose Diaz

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA) - Maryland State Police has identified Hector Henriquez, 46, of Gaithersburg, Md., and Jose R. Diaz, 54, of Derwood, Md. as the deceased in a fatal car crash on Monday.

Jose C. Cedillo, 37, of Gaithersburg, Md. Cedillo who was also a passenger in the Ford F-450, is at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injures.

A Florida man has been charged in the crash that killed the two men and injured two others at Green Valley Rd. and Rte 75.

Watson Pierre, 34, of Sunrise, Florida was charged late Monday night with two counts of criminally negligent homicide and one count of failure to control speed to avoid a collision.

Police arrested Pierre Monday night after he was treated and released from the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He is at the Frederick County Detention Center central booking unit where he is awaiting an initial appearance before a court commissioner.

At about 2 p.m. on Monday, a tractor trailer northbound on Rte. 75 was trying to make a right turn when it overturned onto the  F-450 pickup truck traveling southbound. Two people inside the pickup were dead at the scene.

The tractor trailer passenger has been identified as Erochenel Bernadin, 42, of Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was transported by an ambulance to the Frederick Memorial Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and later released.

The accident still remains under investigation.
