Sara Elizabeth Martin, Of Gainesville, Va., Arrested For Using Stolen Prescription Pads To Write Unauthorized Prescriptions

GAINESVILLE, Va. (WUSA) -- Prince William County Police arrested thirty-four-year-old Sara Elizabeth Martin after finding stolen prescription pad, police said. 

On Oct. 22, police officers pulled Martin over near James Madison Hwy and John Marshall in Haymarket and found prescription pads in her car. The findings led to an investigation by detectives from the Street Crimes Unit, police said.

The next day, detectives obtained a search warrant at her come located at 7000 Rogue Forest Lane in Gainesville. According to police, Martin used stolen prescription pads to write "unauthorized prescriptions" for herself and others.

Martin was arrested for three counts of forgery and three counts of possession of a schedule II narcotic.

She is being held without bond.
