East Hartford, CT (Sports Network) - Abby Wambach and Tobin Heath scored for the United States, but two goals from 20-year Dzsenifer Marozsan gave Germany a 2-2 draw Tuesday in a women's friendly at Rentschler Field.

The United States, ranked No. 1 in the world, led twice as Wambach scored just before halftime and Heath answered the first Marozsan goal midway through the second half.

But Marozsan, who won the Golden Ball at the Under-20 World Cup, added to her strike in the 48th minute with her second goal of the match five minutes from time.

The Americans and Germans, ranked No. 2 in the world, also tied Saturday, 1-1, in the first of two matches between the nations on the "Fan Tribute Tour" for the United States.

The United States started the scoring just before halftime when a ball played toward goal by Alex Morgan deflected off a defender to Wambach, who dove near the far post to head the ball into the corner.

Germany responded three minutes after half when Marozsan, who was brought into the match to start the second half, finished a one-on-one opportunity against U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo.

Heath restored the lead for the United States in the 68th minute, when a cross from Morgan was just out of reach for Carli Lloyd, but found Heath at the back post for an easy finish into an open net.

Germany responded again through Marozsan in the 85th minute, as she accepted a pass from Linda Bresonik and beat Solo for a second time to leave the teams on level terms once again.

The United States continues its post-Olympic tour Nov. 28 against Ireland in Portland, Ore. The Americans and Irish will also play Dec. 1 at 9;30 p.m. in Glendale, Ariz.
