DC Police Want Suspect In 27th St SE Fatal Shooting

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A 23-year-old man lost his life in a shooting in the 1700 block of 27th Street, SE on Monday morning. D.C. police want to find the person who shot him.

Police responded to the scene at approximately 1:33 a.m. after getting a call about an assault. Officers found Robert Maurice Lesueur of Northeast, D.C. unconscious and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

Lesueur was taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

There is a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons in this case.
