(WUSA) -- You may see a bunch of Arlington County police officers in the 3900 block of N. 26th Street on Tuesday. Don't be alarmed: they are there for a SWAT training exercise.

The police department says the officers won't be using live ammunition during the exercise, which lasts until 3 p.m., but that they will have "realistic looking training weapons that shoot paint projectiles" and "noise flash diversionary devices."

Officials say that people in the neighborhood may see many police cars parked in the area as well. The police cars are not supposed to block driveways or other access points but if you find a car is blocking your access, police officials say you should tell an officer on the scene who is wearing a bright yellow vest.
