WASHINGTON (AP) - Prosecutors in the District of Columbia are planning a third trial for a man accused of killing a teenager.

A prosecutor said in court Friday that the U.S. Attorney's office was planning a new trial for 21-year-old Raymond Roseboro. A jury has twice deadlocked in separate trials against him.

Prosecutors allege that Roseboro was responsible for the November 2010 death of 16-year-old Prince Okorie, though no DNA evidence or murder weapon connected him to the shooting.

The Washington Post reports that Roseboro's lawyer, James Rudasill, asked the judge to release Roseboro from the D.C. jail but that the request was denied because of Roseboro's juvenile record.
