Philips Lighting Company Recalls Millions Of CFLs

BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- The Philips Lighting Company has recalled 1.86 million of it's Energy Saver Marathon and Marathon Classic compact fluorescent dimmable reflector flood lamps/

The glass globe detaches from the body of the lamp, and cause injury to people and property.

The CFL lamps were sold nationwide from March 2007 through July 2011.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commissions says you should stop using the CFL bulbs immediately, and contact Philips to receive a free replacement lamp.
