WASHINGTON (WUSA9)-- No one expects a cancer diagnosis at age 24. But that is exactly what Julie Hahn faced when she found out she had leukemia in 2010.
She, and her husband Jordan, both attend support groups geared toward young adults at Hope Connections for Cancer Support in Bethesda.
The organization offers a variety of programs for cancer patients of all ages, including support groups, workshops, and mind/body classes. All are free of charge.
Co-founder Paula Rothenberg joined Julia on WUSA 9 News at 5 to talk about Hope Connections' mission and its new home, located at 9650 Rockville Pike in Bethesda, Md.
