BALTIMORE, MD (WUSA) - Ravens fans all over the region are flying high this week as they prepare for the team to make their second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history, live on February 3 at 6:30 p.m. on WUSA9.
One Baltimore area jeweler is taking the excitement to another level altogether, essentially offering free jewelry if the Ravens shut out San Francisco in the big game.
Saxon's Diamond Center has promised refunds on jewelry purchased between January 26-February 2 at their Bel Air and Aberdeen locations, if the Ravens hold the 49ers to zero points in the Super Bowl.
The jeweler will refund purchases made on those dates up to $5,000 each.
"It's an exciting time," Kevin Ferrell, President of Saxon's Diamond Centers, said in a press release. "Everyone around here supports the Ravens and nothing would please me more than to see San Francisco go down and go down big."
The store says it has bought insurance to cover the refunds if the 49ers are shut out.
Now that's dedication.
