WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- This is a pivotal week for women's rights in this country. On March 3, 1913 -- thousands of women who'd grown impatient with the lack of liberty, for all, at the polls marched for the right to vote.

Members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority were the only group of African-American women invited to participate.

This Sunday, they will lead the way to reenact that historic march.

Anchor Lesli Foster is a member, and will be among the marchers. She talks to Reverend Gwendolyn Boyd - a past National President for Delta about the march and it's significance.

And, a special thanks to the DC Public Library for the photographs from the Women's Suffrage March of 1913.
