WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) Subaru has recalled some 2005 through 2009 Legacy and Outback all-wheel-drive vehicles.
In documents filed with NHTSA, the auto maker says the brake lines can rust and leak fluid.
The rusty lines can cause longer braking distances and increases the risk of a crash.
The problem occurs in cars where salt is used to clear roads in the winter.
Subaru plans to replace the brake lines if necessary.
