WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- A computer glitch at H&R Block will delay the tax returns of some 600,000 customers.

The nation's largest tax preparer failed to fill in a mandatory field used to claim education credits.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, those H&R Block clients who filed before February 22nd will have to wait up to six weeks before they receive their refund.
