FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) -- The flood warning for the Monocacy River has expired but some Frederick residents are still experiencing the effects of Superstorm Sandy.

Brunswick suffered extensive damage caused by strong winds, resulting in the city's elementary school to remain closed today due to lack of power.

Residents there are also dealing with downed trees throughout the area. 9News Scott Broom has the story.
