Vienna, Austria (SportsNetwork.com) - Tommy Haas beat unseeded Dutchman Robin Haase in the final of the Erste Bank Open.

The second-seeded Haas outlasted Haase by a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 margin.

Haas captured his second title in Vienna, previously winning the crown back in 2001. He also reached the final in 2000 and still has an outside chance to reach the season-ending ATP World Tour Finals. The German entered Sunday 12th in the Emirates ATP Race to London standings.

The 35-year-old Haas appeared in his 27th career ATP World Tour final (15-12) and third this year (2-1). He won in Munich back in April after losing in the San Jose final in February.

Haase, who upset top-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals, played in his fourth career final and second this year. He lost to Mikhail Youzhny three months ago in Gstaad. His other two finals were also contested in Austria, as he won his first two titles at the Kitzbuhel event in both 2011 and 2012.

Sunday's meeting was the first between Haas and Haase.

Haas took home $122,000 with the victory.
