London, England (Sports Network) - The oldest rivalry in Davis Cup history will be renewed next year when the United States hosts Great Britain in the opening round of the World Group, from January 31-February 2.

The record 32-time champion U.S. and nine-time champion Brits met in the first-ever Davis Cup tie in 1900, with the host Americans topping the British Isles 3-0 in Boston.

Britain, led by Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, is back in the World Group for the first time in six years.

And world No. 1 Novak Djokovic could face former top-ranked great Roger Federer, as Serbia will battle visiting Switzerland next year. The Serbs will tangle with the reigning champion Czech Republic in the 2013 final in Belgrade this November.

The champion Czechs will open their 2014 campaign by playing host to the Netherlands.

Also in the 2014 World Group, Japan will host Canada; Germany will host Spain; France will host Australia; Argentina will host Italy; and Kazakhstan will host Belgium.
