Uncertainty for Military with Shutdown & Debt Ceiling

WASHINGTON (WUSA) --- Despite some help for active duty military and civilian Pentagon employees, concerns remain about the impacts of the federal government shutdown and the looming debt ceiling debate. 

The Association of the U.S. Navy is worried about members getting paychecks in a timely fashion, a slowdown or stopping of other benefit programs, and the longterm effects on military readiness.
